NICO JAN KOENDERS
Nico-Jan Koenders is known in pigeon racing as the man who achieved superb results in program races. He also achieved outstanding results in sprint, middle-distance, and long-distance races. He was national champion with young birds (2002) and best fancier in the Netherlands (2003) with old birds. He won both the national long-distance Spiegel race in 2006-2007, and also became national champion over three years in 2008.
Looking for a new challenge, Nico-Jan switched to marathon racing about seven years ago. He quickly achieved some great successes there, including being named champion of Section 8, a feat he repeated in 2020. He started competing in the marathon, and he quickly achieved great successes there as well.
Nico-Jan has a fantastic group of breeding pigeons with top origins. His breeding loft includes top pigeons from the best of the best, including:
