Bennie Homma from Balk

the marathon man who has been racing in true champion style for more than 30 years with 9 National/Sector victories

Bennie Homma is the racing name, but behind this name stand Bennie and his wife Loes. Together they form an excellent combination as a strong and dedicated team.

National en International Success

During the period 1995 to 1999 they already won 1st National twice and achieved an impressive number of teletext rankings. In this period they lived in Wijckel. From 2000 onward they have been racing from their current hometown, Balk, with great success:

6 sector victories in National races and 68 National teletext listings (top 10 rankings). Department (NPO) teletext rankings are not included in this total.

Since 2021 they have mainly focused on International marathon races. In this period they achieved 13 times a top 25 National position, with the absolute highlight being 1st International Perpignan.

Homma Pigeons: Strong Own Stock, Generations of Winners

The Homma pigeons are a real own stock of long distance pigeons performing in champion style over more than 35 years.

The Homma pigeons are tough, whether it’s a morning- or afternoon release, tail- or headwind, a very slow and difficult long distance course or fast and easy, the Homma pigeons go for that first place. They have proven themselves over the years.

The foundation was formed by pigeons from Herman Brinkman from Tuk, which 75% of the colony consists of pigeons from klaas Woord from Urk, and Comb. The Jong-Dekkers Lepelstraat.

In the last 12 years, also 4 important pigeons from Jan Grootoonk from Bant, Comb Steenbeek from de Bilt and Dick Letter from Hippolytushoef have been added.

If you look at the pedigrees, you can see that the Homma pigeons Homma pigeons produce teletext performers generation after generation.
